Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Terms and Conditions

Introduction

‍1. Freetrade Europa AB’s (“Freetrade”, “we”, “us” or “our”) Epicenter cash bonus registration campaign (“Cash Bonus Registration Campaign”) is offered subject to these Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Terms & Conditions (“Registration Terms & Conditions”). By taking any actions under the Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Campaign, you agree to be bound by these Registration Terms & Conditions. These Registration Terms & Conditions are governed by Swedish law.

2. Under the Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Campaign a cash amount of 400 SEK (the “Cash Bonus”) will be awarded to a new customer who has successfully completed a Valid Registration in accordance with these Registration Terms & Conditions. In these Registration Terms & Conditions, the award of the Cash Bonus is referred to as the “Award”.

3. The Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Campaign will be valid for the Validity Period unless we extend that period. We may withdraw or amend these Registration Terms & Conditions to the extent that the withdrawal or amendment is not to your detriment, by updating them on our website.

4. Any Freetrade account opened will be subject to Freetrade’s Terms and Conditions which can be found here.

Making a Valid Registration

5. A “Valid Registration” occurs when all of the criteria in (a)-(f) below have been met by a new customer:
(a) not be an existing or previous customer at the time of the registration;
(b) have opened a Freetrade Account;
(c) have passed all of our onboarding checks;
(d) be a Sweden tax resident;
(e) have completed a W-8BEN form; and
(f) have a tradable value of not less than 400 SEK in their Freetrade account(s) in aggregate from no later than the end of the Validity Period and thereafter they have not made a transfer or withdrawal that causes the tradable value to fall below 400 SEK before the date of the Award.

6. A registration must be completed before the end of the Validity Period in order to be a Valid Registration.

7. A registration which has met the criteria at 5(a)-(f) above ceases to be a Valid Registration if the customer stops meeting any of their eligibility criteria set out in section 5 before the date of the Award.

Making the Award

8. We will use our best endeavours to make any Award within twenty-eight (28) business days of a Valid Registration first occurring under section 5 (a)-(f) above, provided that the relevant registration remains a Valid Registration on that date. If the Award has not been made within this timeframe, you should email hej@freetrade.io.  

9. ‍Employees and contractors of Freetrade are not eligible for an Award in connection with this Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Campaign.

10. We may refuse to make an Award if we reasonably consider that the customer has engaged in activity we deem to be abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Registration Terms & Conditions.

11. If the customer seeks to withdraw the amount of the Cash Bonus within one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the date of the Award then we may clawback, sell or cancel any Cash Bonus awarded to that person or sell any other shares held by us for that person and/or deduct cash from their Freetrade account of an equivalent value to the Cash Bonus, as permitted under applicable law.

Tax implications

12. Freetrade does not give tax advice or take account of your individual tax position. You are responsible for understanding your own tax position in relation to your Freetrade Account(s) and the Award.

‍13.  If you have a complaint in respect of the Epicenter Cash Bonus Registration Campaign, you should contact our Customer Service team at hej@freetrade.io, where your complaint will be handled in accordance with our complaints order handling procedure.
